Play, Learn, Grow - $25

Providers must have the foundations of early childhood development in order to address the various needs of children at different ages and to plan individualized instruction tailored to each child. When providers are able to recognize indicators that learning has taken place, they are able to scaffold their teaching to assist children through important developmental stages. Through understanding of developmental milestones, developmentally appropriate practices, and the need to plan instruction for all learning styles and abilities, educators are able to create meaningful experiences that benefit all children.
● Recognize behaviors that indicate that learning has occurred in each stage of development.
● Define developmentally appropriate practice.
● Identify strategies to support different learning styles and abilities in all domains.
